RICO ABREU WINS KING OF THE WEST SPRINT CAR RACE AT CALISTOGA
CALISTOGA, Calif. (May 28, 2012) – Rico Abreu won the Tribute to Gary Patterson Cancen Oil King of the West sprint car race at Calistoga Speedway, the second race of the weekend for the popular western winged sprint car series.
Goodyear is the exclusive tire provider for the King of the West Series, supplying bias-ply tires from the same line that is used by other top sprint car programs in the United States.
Andy Greg finished second to Abreu, followed by Willie Croft, Bud Kaeding and Bobby McMahan.
Tim Kaeding, who won the night before, delivered the fastest lap in the 19-car field during time trials.
