Notes: Teams in both NASCAR series running at Pocono this weekend will
run the same tire codes, though the Sprint Cup tires will be branded
"Goodyear Eagle," while the Camping World Truck tires will be branded
"Goodyear Wrangler" . . . this is the same combination of left- and
right-side tires that Sprint Cup teams ran successfully at Pocono in
June . . . this is the second NASCAR race weekend since Pocono was
resurfaced, and Goodyear held a tire test at the track on April 24-25 .
. . teams participating in that test were the No. 1 Earnhardt-Ganassi
Racing Chevrolet, No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet, No. 20 Joe
Gibbs Racing Toyota, No. 22 Penske Racing Dodge and No. 43 Richard
Petty Motorsports Ford . . . as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one
mile in length, teams are required to run inner liners on all four tire
positions at Pocono . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be
12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.

features a compound change to improve wear . . . as on most NASCAR
ovals one mile or less in length, teams will not run inner liners in
their tires at Iowa.
